DOLMEN DU MOLI DEL VENT

Accessible by foot or by car, this Dolmen (2500 years BC) is a tomb composed by a burial chambre called 'Cella" made of erected flat stones and a corridor of large slabs. The whole structure is covered by a tumulus of little blocks. Inside the sepulchral room, deads were put with offerings (weapons, ornaments, pots... )A hundred of dolmens have been identified in the Roussillon. A little numbers of these dolmens have been restored as this one. In Belesta or in the surrounding villages, the restoration of these pieces of history was included in a project of creation of discovery paths to understand the megalithic history.
